When Armand St. Jean started his cannery at the Nanaimo docks in 1961, his mission was simple: help fishermen preserve their catch. He was there when boats came in, ready to smoke, can, or package salmon so families could enjoy the West Coast long after the trip was over.
Today, three generations later, we continue that tradition—serving anglers from Sooke to the Queen Charlottes (Haida Gwaii) with the same dedication to quality and craft.
